What is a logic model?
A logic model is a graphic depiction of the relationship between program activities and intended effects. They help us plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate our work more effectively.
Why are they useful?
Provide a common language
Differentiate between “what we do” and “results”
Enhance understanding about the program
Guide and focus the work
Guide decision-making and allocation of resources
Help identify important variables to measure and ensure wide utilization of evaluation resources
Leverage funding as they are increasingly being required
