How to Become a Master Gardener
To become certified, Master Gardeners must successfully
complete both the training and service
requirements during their first year in the program.
To maintain certification, a minimum number of hours of continuing
education (10 hours) and volunteer service (24 hours) must
be completed annually.
The SouthEast Wisconsin Master Gardener membership dues
of $10 per year also includes membership in the state Master
Gardener Association.
Master Gardener General Training for 2010 will be held
January 11, 2010 through April 8, 2010 depending on location.
Monday Evenings --- 5:30pm to 8:30pm --Boerner Botanical Gardens
Thursday Mornings 9:30am to 12:30pm -- Waukesha County UW-Extension
