Older Youth and Adult Board of Directors Positions for the Milwaukee County 4-H Leaders Council
The Milwaukee County 4-H Leaders Council is an association of older youth and adults that encourages training and guidance of youth and adult volunteers in Milwaukee County. The council is seeking adult and older youth representatives (enrolled in 9th grade to 13th grade) for the Board of Directors. The Board organizes educational experiences and sponsors scholarships to supplement and enhance youth development programs at the county, state, and national levels. Position descriptions are below. The Milwaukee County 4-H Techwizards program is seeking adults to serve as mentors to create a nuturing environment for youth Milwaukee’s central city. Mentors will instill a confidence to succeed by nourishing young people’s curiosity for Science and Engineering through hands-on learning experience.

Model Horse Show
Milwaukee County Hillside Horse & Horseless Horse 4-H Club will be holding two model horse shows on March 7, 2015 at 9AM at the Oelschaeger-Dallman American Legion Post #434 at 9327 S. Shepard Ave Oak Creek, WI 53154. Volunteers are needed on March 7, 2015 from any time after 7 am till? They are looking for gently used items for the silent auction and ribbons for the ribbon buyback. They are looking for baked goods wrapped in individual serving sizes – ingredient listings for these items would be appreciated. They need people to write down judges’ results, to do youth show high point sheets, someone to do the ribbon buyback and put the ribbons back into 1-10th place, and someone to organize the silent auction items on the day of show.
