4-H 80th Anniversary Celebration
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Milwaukee County 4-H program. To highlight that 4-H is still alive and thriving, Cooperative Extension is inviting current and former 4-H members to celebrate this 4-H milestone during the County Fair on Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 pm. The program will include awards, a display of historic 4-H photos and memorabilia, and other activities. Members who would like to share their memories will be able to record them in a memory book. Anyone having items to lend for the display is asked to contact the 4-H office at 414-290-2408.

Exploring 4-H Saturdays
4-H members are invited to join us as we learn, play, and enjoy fun snacks. Exploring 4-H Saturdays are held the first Saturday of each month at the 4-H Office from 10 am to 12 noon. Please contact Mark Watkins, Sr at (414) 281-2492 for more information.

Urban Horse Project
Please join our very own Horse Project Leader, Char Ehlert to learn more about these amazing animals. During the cold months, the Urban Horse Project will meet inside at the 4-H office. Members will learn how to make tack for model horses on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm. Then, when it warms up, youth will gallop over to Milwaukee Coach & Carriage to experience first hand what it is like to ride and show a horse. This is open to
4-H members 10 and older. You will learn basic equestrian skills and have lots of one-on-one practice
with our very own instructor. For more information about the
