Small Farmers and Producers Wanted!
Are you looking for a helping hand in moving your farm or local food based business to the next level? The University of Wisconsin Extension in Southeast Wisconsin is looking to assist small scale producers with an eye for opportunity. If you are a local farmer interested in learning more from area experts about getting your business up and running, diversifying your revenue, ag funding opportunities, food safety and/ or shared kitchen access, please let us know! Participants will be asked to attend three half-day educational workshops and complete some goal planning work outside of classes between late February and early April 2015. Individual support will be provided to meet goals.
Thanks to a grant from the North Central Extension Risk Management Center, there is no charge to participate but the number of participants is limited. For more information, please contact: Ryan Schone, UW-Extension, Local Foods Instructional Specialist at firstname.lastname@example.org or 414-256-4653.
